How do I completely remove an .esm from my mod?

Recommended Posts

I accidentally added the Craft .esm to my mod while making it. What do I have to do to delete everything related to craft in my mod? I really need to know the answer. Please give me a simple step-by-step list. Thanks.

Example, my Geck says these mods are being used with my esp.

Fallout3.esm

Craft.esm (what i want to delete)

Falloutredone.esp (my mod)

Try this:

If you have NOT used any resources from Craft.esm in building your mod:

1) Load your mod with FO3Edit

2) Right click on your mod in the left pane

3) Select the "Clean Masters" option

4) Save and exit

FO3Edit will strip the mod of any unused masters, whether they be .esm or .esp.

If you have used Craft.esm resources:

1) Expand the mod tree by clicking on the + sign

2) Select "File Header"

3) In the Master Files section, delete the Craft.esm header.

4) Save and exit.

5) Reload your mod in FO3Edit

6) Delete any "Could Not Be Resolved" instances.

7) Save and exit
