jaybru22
So, I'm using a pure mage, specializing in conjuration and destruction. As I find more and more enemies that are resistant to a certain element, it seems like it may be a good idea to specialize in two elemental perk trees (ie. fire and ice). This way, down the road, I will never be unable to damage a certain enemy effectively. My main concern is that doing this will use up perks that I hope to use on enchanting. Thoughts from anybody who is level 20+?
TwoToedSloth
I initially thought the same, but decided to go with lightning for 2 reasons: 1) It looks freaking awesome and 2) It's final perk is really cool. Also, you can always cast an atronarch in the other desired element, or you can leave a perk or 2 open in case you really find that you need another element. I have yet to find a reason to branch into another element. Dual shockbolts with stun perk kills everything. Also, Go down the middle branch of the enchantment tree. You can eventually make it so that your destruction spells are free to cast ;)
jaybru22
Wow, helpful info, thanks. So you reccomend speccing just one element (fire for me), conjuration, and middle of the enchanting tree? Obviously this gives no room for anything else. jaybru22
also, when you say middle of enhancement, do you mean ignore extra effect? the final perk. or do all of the far left ones also just to unlock that final one?
