An_Omen
Hi! Can two .nif files be joined together (I use nifscope) to make one new .nif file? I want to merge a cuirass and a cape so they appear in game as one whole piece of armour. The reason for this is because my character wears a lot of clothes.Namely boots, greaves, gauntlets, rings, a cuirass, a cape, a helmet and a mask. He uses two handed weapons so no shield slot is used. If anyone knows of any tutorials for doing so in nifscope I would be pleased to read them. So far I can't find any about joining/merging two meshes together. Also, does anyone know anything about creating spikes? It would be cool if my cuirass could have spiked pauldrons instead of just flat smooth ones. Any advice gladly received! Thanks P.S Does anyone recommend me trying Everquest when I am finally done with Oblivion? From what I have read it was a cult classic. Thoughts? malonn
You can't take the 2 nifs and merge into one. But you can take elements from one and merge into the other. I don't know the details about the 2 nifs you are working w/, but try this TUT. I think that should help w/ what you are asking. Sorry if I'm way off.
