Germonicus
As in thew topic title,I can't play the game in 2540x1440 res on my 27inch monitor and 2x Nvidia GTX580 SLI. It runs but everything is just messed up......screen is oddly stretched,I seem to run sideways and there are weird gfx glitches like floating disembodied eyes.It looks like a bad acid trip actually.I tried reducing each gfx option one by one and then reduced them all together and it makes no difference at all but as soon as I switch to 1920x1440 it's fine. Anyone else having this problem and know how to fix it?
Serrimo
For info, the game plays (fantastically) fine at 2560x1600.

Anyone else having this problem and know how to fix it? I was googling all night and morning and this was the only place where I found someone with my same issue. I just upgraded to a GTX560 with hopes of playing in 2560x1440 native - but the game launches, everything looks fine on main screen & on loading screens, but then once it loads the actual game - crazy textures all over the place and I'm running sideways and all that too.... Tried lowering settings, same.... But as soon as I drop it back to 1080p with everything on super high , 8x AA, etc - runs great for hours no problem. So basically Im hoping you still read this forum and might have figured out the issue.
bben46
Does your big screen support the resolution you want to use? Is that the native resolution? The game plays best on the native resolution of the monitor (or TV) you use. Any other resolution - either higher or lower can cause some kind of problem as the resolution must go through a conversion - and any conversion can cause strange things to happen. And any non native resolution will show some degradation of picture quality due to the conversions. Note: Native resolution is usually the resolution listed in the documentation of the monitor. See this WIKI for a better explanation - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Native_resolution
reputationZed
I'm playing at 2560x1440 with a pair of GTX460 1MB in SLI, the 560 is a step up so your cards should be more than capable of playing at this res. There's a known issue with the 560 and the X79 chipset that NVI has issued a fix for that may help you out. http://pcper.com/news/Graphics-Cards/Squeaky-Wheel-NVIDIA-Driver-Fixes-GTX-560-Ti-2Win-and-X79-Issue
rizzlerick
For some reason its only if I have AA above 4, then the 2560x1440 resolution looks all weird and unplayable. Dropped it to 2X and it works perfectly
Syntextoxy
I've just tried to play on 2560x1440 (I have a AMD r9 290) and funny enought I'm having FPS problems. I get capped at 19 FPS and no matter if the graphics options are set to low or on ultra it's always 19FPS... Nvm, just realised that this is not the game I'm looking for x'D Edited November 10, 2015 by Syntextoxy
