minniethemouse
I know this isn't really possible but it's my pipe dream. I really HATE the art style in Blood & Wine. If someone could re-render that to look like it actually belongs in the same game as the original art, I'd be ever so grateful. Honestly, to me it looks it fell out of somebody's cartoon version of the game and almost hurts my eyes (and my heart) to look at it. I started the xpac, then stopped and decided to wait to go back until I've maybe forgotten what the original art was like. Yeah, I know. I'm asking a lot, but I felt it had to be said. Deleted2770933User
Maybe re-word your request? It is not the "art style", but the lighting you are most likely referring to.
ddavies10693
Both areas were made by the same team in the same game engine, so they are the same "style" as said above. There are lore-friendly reasons why this new area looks different than Velen, for example-- mainly because it was never the site of multiple major wars, and the region is actually very wealthy for the most part. To overhaul the entire DLC area would take one person several months if they were working by themselves, especially with the limited available tools. As said above ^ I would recommend trying a mod that changes the lighting.
minniethemouse
Thanks for the suggestions, guys. I'll check out some of the lighting mods. Perhaps "style" was the wrong word. I can't actually put my finger on what bothers me, just somehow it seems different. Oh well.
ddavies10693
In that respect, I actually know what you mean. It almost looks as if there is a new post-processing effect, but I don't know enough about post-processing or photography or anything to know what it could possibly be called.
