Rukus723
I know first hand how overpowered spell crafting can be, but I don't see how Scroll Crafting would be a problem (especially when balanced correctly) The gist of my idea is so that mages can use emergency magic when their magika is depleted, or other non-magicka using enchantment sub-classes (such as something similar to a monk) can use powerful spells as a side weapon. Scrolls would be craftable acording to Soul Gem type and become available as you level enchantment Gem ChartApprentice:LesserAdept:CommonExpert:GreaterMaster:GrandPerk ChartApprentice:25Adept: 45Expert: 60Master:80Crafted Scrolls would never be effected by a perk, and are slightly less effective overall.Scrolls are made by disenchanting two scrolls or one book.Scroll classes become available as you level enchantment Scrolls remain inferior to scrolls found as loot and are listed as "Flawed Scroll", and are %20 less effective. This can be reverted upon reaching level 90 in the enchantment perk tree and acquiring "Perfected Scroll Enchantment". This is put in place to keep scroll from replacing Magicka early on, but those with dedication can partially replace Magicka latter on. I'd be glad to be a part of an undertaking of this suggestion, but I am %100 new to TES modding. If I find anything about the creation kit easy to figure out I'll gladly help. If not, I'd at least like to be credited if I inspired you. Edited November 16, 2011 by Rukus723
F4LK5
Wouldnt a tome teach a caster how to use a spell more effectiently? hence disenchanting should require one tome? maybe 2 scrolls? im assuming this is for non mages? as a mage would simply use the tome and cast as normal would he/she not? Also, this can be used for people who are non-mages with enchanting primarily for their armor and weapons or it can be used by a mage because it would give you the ability to cast spells without magicka.
