Most people don't want to accept that they couldn't figure out the installation instructions, but it's the most common source of problems. (Many instructions make assumptions about your knowledge of terms that aren't true, or are subject to misinterpretation. In addition, sometimes mods are packaged in a way that doesn't work well with a particular mod manager.) Why not give us an example of which mod you tried to install and exactly how you went about it? Without some sort of detail we can't really help. -Dubious-im trying to put NMCs texture mod,i followed the tutorial that is on the page, i extracted the files on the data folder, and after that with the NMM i applied the Archive Invalidation (and yes, i unclicked and clicked again) and didnt work. same with FOMM same thing happened with an enb series, i followed the tutorial but didnt work as well. if i did anything wrong in the instalation, please tell me Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Unfortunately that doesn't tell me what you actually DID in interpreting those instructions. If necessary, walk through it again and make notes about each step you take. For instance, let's talk about when you used NMM. (You mentioned both it and FOMM.) Which texture size did you choose (Large, Medium, or Small)? How many parts did you download?Where did you save the downloaded files? (To your desktop or some folder? If a folder, exactly where is it, i.e. "C:\downloads"? Please give the full path.)Were the downloaded files of the expected size? (Each file size is indicated on the Nexus "Files" page to the right of the file title.)What did you do next? (Which file did you select? Did you unpack it, or just double-click on it, or what?)
