RA22 Posted December 18, 2007 Share Posted December 18, 2007 I am tring to make mod that will add companions to the game.This mod will add about 5 companions to the game.Each companion will have different class than any other companion used in this mod. First you must do some quests. -you will actualy geather companions on your quests.Then when you complete quests for all companions you will get quest where you and your fellowship must beat some evil...or good if you decide to be evil. I will try to make companions with "CM companions"...Later I will make it with scripts so each companion will be unique. If someone have some ideas or story for this mod just post it. The simplest line would be to have a former group of adventurers who have split up following the death of their leader. You get a document indicating who and where they are but have to do a quest for each to get them to join. When you have all five they ask you to take revenge on the person who killed their leader. After that they will fight with you when needed. The individual quests could be - save a friend, find an artefact, clear a dungeon, make a delivery and collect some items. Lots of choices. [You still get credits for story.] --The one is character that do not have name yet.-- Leader is alive but you will find he/she by finishing main quest.You can recrut the one if you do special quest...not scripted but you need to find clues that will lead you to the one. You can`t do it before finishing grup quest because you need key for opening dungeon where the one is inprisoned after fight. Does the quest have a mighty ring? ;) No it is not LOTR, it is quest about advanturers group that is destroyed. Quest do not have mighty ring...but you can use one in roleplaying if you want it be like in LOTR. I am trying to make quests but every time I try make something nothing happends.Can someone help me with problem...post link to tutorial or explain how to make quest that starts when Player talk (custom created topic) with NPC.
