Does OOO speed up the game, oblivion, in any way?

Hey guys,

Recently went back to Oblivion again, and I installed a couple of mods, OOO, Unofficial Oblivion Patch, Midas Magic and Darnified UI.

I noticed the game speed has been 'sped up'

Is it just me or did a mod that I install increase the game speed?

Side question: How do I increase the HUD size in darnified UI? I like the layout, but the health bars and all that are too small.

Thanks for any help.

OOO doesn't increase gamespeed, neither does the UOP, Midas or Darnified UI. I'm also pretty sure Darnified UI has a config page somewhere - maybe around the stats screen? I haven't played in a long time.

If it's days passing faster, you can reset the timespeed to the default manually by typing "set timescale to 30".

Hi friend,

In my opinion,OOO slows down the game because the graphic chip has much more work to do and so you might have the impression the game speeds up. Easpecially cause oblivion only uses 256K, even if you have a Bigger graphic card. Only help is set timescale 25. Im playing with timescale 20

In Darnified its easy to change the position and the layout. You only go to "player Status" and click on the most right regisstercard. There you find everything you need to alter the settings.

Have fun

Thanks guys, I don't think its the in-game time, I mean like game speed. Like, I seem to run faster, slash faster, all that. Maybe it's just me, though.

Or maybe my computer is running too fast? My computer can run crysis 2 at max settings (just to show that my specs totally overkill the oblivion's recommended) and even at the loading screen, my computer loads it in one second. Stupid, I know, but is it even possible?

Once again, thanks for answering my questions :D
