urthor
Thing that annoys me about Skyrim is how you are burrowing into about 2 or 3 skill trees at once and only concentrating on the major combat or crafting ones that are useful. Double perks would mean you could use that wonderful speech and pickpocket trees that currently just get ignored, probably with a necessary difficulty upgrade, it would be kinda balanced as well as being more fun from the range of options. Pablosky64
Considering where I am at the game right now, I just want a mod / cheat that gives me +100 perk points... Double perk per level is not enough, IMHO. I've even been looking for some kind of trainer or something to get this. Anyone can help?
Usmovers02
I've been thinking about this too. I think double perks would be too unbalanced for me personally. I'd like to see somebody remove the level 50 soft cap so we can KEEP getting perks. Also I was thinking that double perks should kick in at level 50. There are too many awesome perks I'm gonna miss with just 50.

There is. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Console ddperk <perk ID> Gives your character the selected perk. Ex. "player.addperk C44C0" would give your player the perk "Adept Destruction". You can use help "perks name" 4, to get the code for a specfic perk.

But, wouldn't that f*** Steam's achievements thing? (I'm starting to think that that only works with certains commands, as I've been using 'showracemenu' a lot, and I can still unlock them). A last request. Do you know any page with the perk list? My game is not in English, and I'm sure I need the English name to proper use the 'help <perk>' command. Again, thanks a lot! cppcooper
I think that is a bit unfair to say. Just because some people are ignoring them doesn't mean all people are. I focus on whatever perks I have access to. I do a lot of thieving so I am at 40-50 pickpocketing. I just got my night hands or whatever it is called, so now when I lockpick a door and sneak in the middle of the night I can have a better chance of taking stuff from their pockets. Lockpicking I do ignore though.. I don't need the prerequisites all too badly since opening an expert lock doesn't take that much skill. The trick is lightly tapping until you find the sweet spot. Then use the grains on the lock itself to figure out how much farther to keep rotating when the pick inevitably breaks. They could have done SOOO much better with the locks. Back to the point, although I would agree requiring all the perks before the perk you want is annoying.. I wouldn't agree that useful perks get ignored. You just battle too much. I imagine this mod would be easy to make though, you'd just have to go through some of the scripts until you find the level up one. Anybody could do that, just go slow when you find it and are reading through. Then trial and error.
Selvec
No idea. I've been using TGM and the achievements still worked for me. Though I play offline mostly. http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Perks
WarpCrow
I've been hoping for something in this vein or a respec mod myself. Using the console like this is a bit tedious. I love the fact that they've done away with the class system so I'm not pigeonholing myself at the beginning of the game. Letting me decide my role based on how I play over the course of the game is brilliant. However, I'm a fickle sort of guy, and I'd love to be able to alternate based on my mood or situation. Pablosky64
I can't seem to make those console commands work. Oh well. I guess I'll wait for a mod or something. I don't feel like starting a new game after 33 game hours just because I lost 4 or 5 points.
