lelcat has received a formal warning. This user has now received 2 formal warnings. The warning was given for the following reason:

Arguing against a previous warning and insulting site staff in the process.

I was banned for a day but the moderator screwed up and forgot to unban for 2 days

That moderator behaving like a jackass will have consequences. Wrote a complaint to the site.

if look at the ban report forums, they ban someone every 20 minutes on average.

someone saying the f word wont make human civilization collapse. And for a site that lives of A LOT of ad revenue + premium forum crap, they could afford professional community managers who are trained to behave nice to people. Instead they hire volunteers, unpaid, and that attracts the worst kind of people. Those that like to punish others.

And a moderator banning me for a day for me saying "who the f says lorry instead of truck" is just an unpaid volunteer guy who craves to be a prisonguard.

and it says a lot about this site's management if they allow this type of moderator to abuse people like that.

I refuse this whole setup of moderators chasing people managing what they are allowed to say.

Site regulations:

No profanity
it is entirely feasible to convey your meaning without the use of expletives so when you are posting comments on Nexus you are required to refrain from using such words.

Nexus sites and the forums are staffed by unpaid volunteers (known as moderators and "staff") who work hard to ensure the smooth operation of Nexus sites and encourage a healthy community. The moderators and other admin on the site have been given specific privileges by Robin to keep the site clean of the bad articles listed in these terms and use their own personal judgement, that Robin trusts, to come to decisions.

These moderators have a right to carry out their task without harassment, insult or hassle. Members who believe that a member of staff is not conducting themselves properly should get in contact with Robin via the forums or email. Know that if Robin receives word of any members harassing or being rude to Nexus site staff then he will take every action possible to permanently remove them from his sites.

Chat regulations:

If a member of staff (noticeable by the colour of their names; blue, green or red) tells you to stop doing something then stop doing it. Don't argue about it as you'll probably get banned.

Don't act like this is the chatroom for 4chan / Something Awful forums / some other chat room or forum you visit that lets you get away with anything.
