Sorry for asking, but I don't suppose there's a way to make this work on I pirated copy with all DLC? I know that might offend some, but I assure you, it's a habit of mine to pirate my games first (to see if my shoddy old hardware can even run them), then buy them when I see a good price (did that with ME1 and 2). Anyway, I ran the installer without issue, and the [DLC_CON_MEHEM] file was placed correctly, but now the game won't launch. Do you have any suggestions?

I know this is a long shot, as I know first-hand how there can be innumerable issues to cause such things, especially with pirated software. Though I figured I'd ask anyway, because I have no interest in finishing this game with it's current ending. Too many hours, dang it.

edit: Tried uninstalling; still won't launch.

edit2 : Interestingly, running as administrator made it work. I'll keep playing to the end and see if it actually works and report back any issues. May as well do some useful documentation if I'm going to be a filthy pirate [;)]

Piracy

We have a strict anti-piracy policy and we take a proactive and preemptive stance on anyone who gives us reason to believe is using a pirated version of any game or software. We only support official game versions and users should not provide help to others requesting help with unofficial game versions (e.g. cracked games). If your on-site activities provide us with sufficient evidence that you are a software pirate then you will be instantly banned. If you ask for help with a cracked game then your posts or topics may be set to hidden or deleted, and persisting to ask for help with your cracked copy may result in your account being banned.

More information on our anti-piracy policy can be found on our forums.
