It's just for those who may not want the quest-line spoiled if they haven't done so already. Okay! On the Blood Honor quest you do for Kodlak, you're sent to a witches coven in the wilderness. Here you're tasked at retrieving a witches head and bringing it back to Kodlak in Whiterun. An optional objective is to clear out the entire coven of the other witches (about 4 to 6 others, I can't rightly remember). On the first try, all I did was kill the first witch and retrieve her head. I didn't fancy killing the other witches since this first witch almost slaughtered me (she was able to decrease my health quite easily in fact), so I decided to go back to Kodlak rather than kill the other witches. I go back and lo! Kodlak is dead (as he should be) and everyone is sitting around over dead bodies. Vilkas approaches me, as he should, and automatically starts up a conversation and explains what he and I will be doing. Blood Honor completes... but Purity of Revenge doesn't get added like it should. Vilkas goes back to what he's doing, and talking to him yields nothing. Everyone else is sitting around over dead bodies and I can't interact with them (doing so just gets me the 'This person is busy' message on the top left hand corner of the screen). I initially think it's because I didn't do the optional objective, so I reload to before the caverns, lower the difficulty and clear out the caverns plus retrieve the heads. I go back but it still doesn't work. I do some research and find that the quest location shares itself with another quest location where you need to obtain the Helm of Winterhold for the Jarl in Winterhold. I've done this (though clearing that location might be a problem, I don't know) but still no results. I'm wondering if it would be possible to make a bug fix for those who are also having this problem (and I know there are people out there who are). It sounds like a simple bug fix and I do know one already exists (the one for Esbern), but I'm not a modder so for all I know, it could be harder than it sounds. Thanks!
