c0chese
The sheathing sound of daggers and one handed weapon while sneaking annoys me. Does anyone know how I would go about finding these sounds? I'm going to look for a suitable replacement, and see if I can't get something a little more proper for those of us who like to be *very very sneaky* Cheers
Ulfar
I agree a nice slow draw would be nice to minimise sound and also add some serious menace to sneaking up behind someone and then stabbing them in the back.
Aluminumfoil
Download and install New Vegas Mod Manager for the use of its built-in .bsa unpacker in its Tools tab. Open the Sounds.bsa file in your Skyrim/Data directory. Use the left-hand panel to sort to sound/fx/wpn/ Enter the search key: "draw" in the search box. Click and drag around the files that appear in the right hand panel. Click Extract. Store them in a working directory.Enter the search key: "sheath" in the search box. Click and drag around the files that appear in the right hand panel. Click Extract. Store them in a working directory. Edit the files to your preferences. Paste them into your data folder in the folder hierarchy that the .bsa unpacker automatically created for them when you extracted them.

If I could I'd buy you a pint, I'm going to start looking for sounds right off. =)
MikhailFaulken
One thing I find alarming is that, when you draw the scimitar from its leather sheath, it makes the sound as well.
