Phaidon012
One thing i'd love to see before i die, is a dwarven ruin of an observatory... a learning complex lost deep in the mountains, that one has to activate and repair a bit to bring it to the surface and back to life. The complex should have different areas, one of such being a huge (tall) library full of parchments/scrolls, all piled up in some transparent mechanisms that preserve them for the ages... the many mechanisms could be alligned symmetrically forming corridors. The observatory could work with a detailed night sky, either with tes lore or the real night sky, to teach it in a compelling way. This complex could also host some sort of museum, with bones of dragons, of extinct creatures, of underground creatures only found by the dwemer, flora of all Tamriel (some of which might not exist anymore, allowing to brew a few unique potions or poisons or sell it for thousends of septims to expert growers of today.) I imagine the player having flashes of the place when it was truly alive, full of dwarven spheres running in all directions, throwing steam to the aforementioned mechanism's glasses with one hand and wiping them clean with some cloth they hold in the other hand. How many scrolls could there be, containing the most varied topics! politics, war, religion, cooking recipes, history, fiction tales, philosophy! the possibilities are endless...
