PourMeAnother
I don't know how I've managed it, but somehow I'm at a point where any male non-guard non-elf characters (so, Imperials, Nords, and Khajit and possibly Argonian) are missing various body parts. Some are missing their chests, some their feet, some their chests and legs, but they have hands and feet, etc. It's only with the male characters. I know it has to do with some sort of conflict between the mods I have installed, but I'm not sure specifically what's causing it and I'm scared of deleting any one of the three Male body replacer mods* I have installed because I don't want to unintentionally delete important meshes and cause even more of a problem. *- Let me clarify this before you go "no wonder you're having problems, you have three mods modifying the same thing!" Basically, I downloaded Robert's MBR v4, and then I somehow ended up with Beautiful People MBR as well, which I'm not 100% sure when it was downloaded (I may have put it in my game a few months ago and forgotten about it.) When I started having the problem, I downloaded Robert's MBR v5 to try and fix it (and obviously shut off the other two), but it didn't do anything. I feel like Slivion may have caused this because I didn't have problems before that, or it may have been EroticPosePack, but again, I'm not 100% certain. (I revisited Oblivion in the last few days and decided to try out the adult mods for my own amusement.) I'm running Windows 7. Here's my load order: Oblivion.esmUnofficial Oblivion PatchRen's Beauty Pack_full+Soya's Hairpersonality_idles2Male Body Replacer v5actors_in_chargeMaleBodyReplacerv4 (Currently Unchecked)Beautiful People V22 (Currently Unchecked)EFG AddPoseStandingJOJOBasicInstinctbondage_sexshintEmotionsRing of ConsoleCTAddPose_v_1EroblivionCTAddPose_bondage_sexSlof's Sexy Anims77_Umpa_AnimationSexlivionSexlivion_0.4a_full_english_v1MidasSpellsElsweyrAnequinaApachii_Goddess_StoreEM_RedRoseManorKT_CustomRaceFixRen_Soya_KD'sVtoy I also have HGEC body installed as well as the Female EyeCandy- Body Replacer I'm rather averse to reinstalling Oblivion because it would be terribly inconvenient and i'd have to preserve my saves and then redo the majority of my mods since I cleared out my temp folder last month, but if I absolutely need to, I will do it without hesitation. Thank you for any help you can give! I would also like to add that if any mod may have been installed incorrectly, it would've been either EroticPosePack or Sexlivion. But again, I don't want to screw up my meshes even more by blindly deleting things Edited November 15, 2011 by PourMeAnother
DrakeTheDragon
So it's Robert's Male v5 currently in effect for your male bodies.I don't know if those other mods affect anything in relation to bodies at all. However, I have to ask, does this only happen on people wearing some items or also when they're completely nude?As it sounds I'd wager a guess you're missing the so-called Stock Clothing and Armor Replacers for the respective body mods you're using. Without those all people wearing items from the original game will have the original game's bodies, no matter if you're using a body mod or not. It's "inside" the clothing items and replaces your body while worn! Textures on the other hand is a different story, as they're assigned per race and by the ESP of the body mod, not by the clothing you wear. I think I don't need to explain that Robert's Male (or any other body mod's) body textures just won't work at all on Vanilla body meshes (what you have inside Vanilla items). Body parts go missing together with the clothing worn over them is a very common issue when wearing Vanilla Oblivion items (unreplaced!) on Robert's bodies. Could that be the case here? I killed a few people missing body parts, and when I remove the clothing from them (and thus they're nude) their bodies show up normally. So I would assume you're right and I'm missing those Replacers. Where exactly can I aquire those replacers in order to fix this issue? Thanks again! DrakeTheDragon
As you're using Robert's V5, that should be pretty simple. If it's the official, non-beta release, they should be included already, but then they'd be working fine already as well, which they aren't. So I guess it's rather the "beta", or there aren't any in the release at all and I'm just wrong at this point, but if it is the beta, then there are seperate archive files (zip/7z) included you simply have to install as well. If you search for "stock" here (can't link search results), you'll find some on page 3. Hope it helps.

Another quick question: Does the mod default to the 'average' body or the 'muscular' body? I'm assuming it's the average but I just want to make sure. EDIT: ok, so I downloaded this one: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=20328 but now pants on some people aren't working. I'm fairly certain I installed it correctly; I simply did a direct extract in 7zip from the archive to the Oblivion folder and let it replace all of the existing meshes. Any idea? (I'm currently re-downloading V4 and seeing if that will work) EDIT 2: Redownloading V4 didn't do anything. PourMeAnother
Since I don't feel like editing that post a fourth time, I'm going to just reply: I've gotten it working. It didn't occur to me to download both Stock Replacers (Muscular AND Average) at first, but I did and that seemed to fix it. Thank you so much for your help, Drake. I really appreciate it. :)
