  1. 1. Which do you prefer

  2. 2. Should Dual Wielding be modified?

I do not believe the direction pad is being used for anything, though I am using a ps3 controller <3 ps3 over xbox controller, not as awkward... and I have it emulated as xbox controller, but I don't think the "direction pad" is being used for anything I can double check.. But you can always change it up and such.. You could move shouts to the direction pad and turn the right bumper into the block while keeping it out of conflict with the normal dual wield setup.

Yep, mouse-click modifiers would be spectacular. One for block, one for parry, maybe even one for some form of unarmed combat (for those with a spell or nothing in one hand and weapon in the other), like a grab or something. It'd be cool to see the ability to block or parry with bracers.

Dual wielding could use some improvements.

Do you think it would be appropriate to add COUNTERING to the list? Maybe timed executions of a block could initiate a dodge and strike type thing? OP and fellow Skyrimmers...(hm I don't like the way that sounds lmao) forum watchers what do you think?

But yeah, not being able to block while dual wielding gets me killed rather quickly on stronger enemies. The increase in speed doesn't rly make up for the dmg I take.

Well the counter attack part you will be able to do it on your own so long as you can dodge first. So I added dodge to the list and made some control suggestions. I like the idea of tapping wasd, I think I saw somebody post that somewhere else. UT2004 did that sort of thing though where you had to double tap; I wasn't any good at it though.. then again bullets are faster than swords.
