LE Improved Hotkeys

I feel this game is in dire need of better hotkey-support for spells and equipment in favorites. So this thread aims at collecting ideas how to improve this matter, hoping that some dedicated and talented modder will pick up the ideas and improve everyone's gaming experience.

 

To be precise, what I think is really needed, is the following:

 

# The ability to define which hand a particular weapon or spell should be equipped to, when selected via hotkey

# Equipping multiple items with a single hotkey (e.g. One-Hand and Shield, or just multiple pieces of armor)

 

Also nice, but not mandatory:

 

# More bindable keys and key-combinations (e.g. shift-2)

 

 

Please feel free to add further ideas, but please stick to the topic. If you are a modder and would like to try this, please know that many people are looking forward to this.

we had mods like this for Oblivion....just waiting for the inevitability of them being updated for Skyrim.

 

We will likely need a Skyrim Script Extender first, though.

I use an xbox controller and I really wish the D-pad could be set up like Oblivion and Fallout where each direction is a set weapon/spell. For me it would be perfect if UP on the D-pad brought up your favourites like it currently does, then the rest of the D-Pad is quickslots.

ok im a newb i just figured out that you can use left and right quickslots if you hold down the D-pad in those direction in your favourites list and I found the mod that lets you use down as well, healing, fire, and bow is all i need woooo
