Sh3n
HelloI bought FNV about a year ago. I played the game and i never could detect sound bugs or even normal bugs. But today I wanted to play this "old" game again for ceasers legion. So i started the launcher and waited till the steam updated the game. Then i started a new game but i couldnt hear the voices of NPCs! I can see the subtitles but there is no voice! I hear the sounds from pipboy, from the radio and from the enviroment but not from NPCs :(. And they dont even move their mouth.Pls help me i have googled this problem but i couldnt find an answer. Blazk
Check if you have a voices file in data folder. No voice means game is looking in sound/voice/falloutnv.esm for the voice files, so when you e. g. renamed the main .esm it won't work.

Blazk
I was talking about "Fallout - Voices1.bsa" file in Data folder, the sound/voice folder is only for mods/fixes (or when someone extracts that bsa file).

Blazk
Redownload it using steam's "Verify integrity of game cache" in "New Vegas' Properties window -> Local Files"
