vulmer
--This mod is just an idea, I currently have no time (or skill; I lack experience modding any Bethesda games...)to dedicate even trying to attempt something close to this. If anyone wants to attempt my idea; me love you long time.-- Since I am at my College dorm during the week and my desktop is at home and waiting for me on the weekends, Skyrim stagnates on the brain. With all the insane mods that are sure to come out for Skyrim; the one I would absolutely love to see would be a customizable Guild Hall. Features: I would imagine it to be accessible v.i.a map quicktravel (perphaps one could choose a location as to where the icon is placed). Fully customizable furnishing. The hall would feature a central hub with 3 wings(doors on the left, right, back) the market wing, housing wing and armory/training wing. The central hub contains all crafting stations, possibly earnable through quests. The market wing could house a rotation of traveling merchants. Perhaps a player could set up shop here and pay a fee for a merchant to sell your items(that you put on him) over time. The housing ward would allow the player to choose a room for storage/sleeping.The armory wing would allow players to store weapons armor and practice on test dummies. Perhaps there could also be a sort of monster spawner(drop no loot/no skill gain) arena to test gear combinations. Multiplayer support for this(and by multiplayer I mean just the guild hall, not the open world) would be incredible, as this is what would truly make the Guild Hall. A server could be run just to hold all the information going on with the guild hall.(derp) Perhaps to start out there could be just chat and chest updating.Chat could continue when outside the guild hall. Maybe mail messages could be sent to people with the courier? I will post more when ideas start flowing again. So, what do you all think so far? Rukus723
Try flexing this idea a little more. How about adding several locations that you could customize to be anything? IE Your personal house complete with enhancing tables (Forge, Workbench, Leather Maker, etc) and it would cost gold and have a minimum skill requirement to install these improvements. Or you could make it a guild hall where all your companions can hang out.
AtlasS
This would be Brilliant. I love this idea and I think muliplayer interaction(trade and chat, not quests) is the biggest thing missing from Skyrim My ideas(to help flesh it out) - Orc Stronghold style. open to the elements but within a fenced enclosure, = Large hall with beds, server owner's room = outside smithing area and mine = outside farm and alchemical 'hut' = small brawl/armed combat arena where players can wager on each otherusing this concept should make it easier to place in the world and save building modelling or heavy editing - internal interactions = Players can chat using the standard T chat system = Players can offer to trade, train or fight each other with E = Thieves can Pickpocket but must be aware of every other player when doing so those are just my simple ideas. Although there would be nothing "simple" about such a mod
