Dragons are too weak!

I don't have Skyrim but my friend does and watching him play and murder countless dragons began to annoy me. The problem lies in a few areas.

 

1.) Too many dragons in my opinion. They aren't rare and exciting anymore, it almost becomes annoying there are so many. I thought Dragons were supposed to be legendary creatures of untold strength.

2.) The local wildlife kills them. I drowned in dissapointment when I saw a giant massacre a dragon that flew too near.

3.) People can actually tank their breath weapons...Enough said. If you get hit by a massive cone of fire you shouldn't expect to live.

 

Maybe im being too critical but this aspect really annoys me, im not trying to be Debby Downer lol. I think its a great game, I just hope a mod gets released that makes them stronger...and maybe bigger.

I think you are lacking the "depends" answer.

 

I have different expecienes depending on how i leveld my character going form ezpz to omg loading 20 times (master all the time meele).

Frost dragons own me, I just have to run, and if i'm in the open it's game. If the fire breath was that devastating, you would die almost instantly, thus not much fun.

 

They are pretty random respawn wise, I once went about 3 hours without seeing one, but I do think they are a bit common.

 

Overall I do think they are a bit weak though.

 

Also, giants are pretty badass lol.

I agree with every point you made. Mammoths AND Giants > Dragons. Lol. It's quite sad, really. And why can't I ride a dragon around skyrim? Honestly don't get the whole dragon emphasis and then the lack of cool dragon aspects in the game. Whenever I see a random dragon I try to run away because they are boring to fight..."Oh wait one sec while I equip dragonrend." Or they circle the sky in and out of view for a few minutes to annoy you. Would be cool if they would have put more dragons in as final dungeon bosses with a ton of phat loot(we all know that dragons love loot!).

 

The Dragons simply lost their "epicness" from very early on in the game. :(

Yeah, Giants are more difficult than the normal dragons, Blood Dragons and Elder Dragons excluded.

Its a sad say when I see dragons getting beaten by such things as

 

A troll

A pack of wolves

A couple guards

My horse.

i think they should be a little bit rarer and a bit more powerful- but most are still fairly challenging (playing on expert difficulty, lightly armored sword and board) especially blood dragons

Yeah, some of them seem easy if you can even get their attention...the only ones I seem to come across are the ones circling high in the mountains and they don't ever stop moving so I can't get an arrow or shout aimed at em! Then they fly off, leaving me wondering why I just wasted 2 minutes doing that.
