midfit
When ever I go in to build mode it immediately get kicked out of build mode. I tried in every settlement with the same result. I go in to build mode and a few seconds later it kicks me out but I don't get the warning the load logo shows up in the right hand corner and then I am out of build mode. I un check all of my plug in's and run the game and build mode works fine. I disable all my mods except the Bethesda plugins and build mode works fine. I load a back up save same issue, I load up another character same issue. Please someone help!! this sucks
rataje
Only thing i can say to this workshop trash is,it is still useless and buggy. I'm not able to build corners... still ridiculous and bad developed. And with the Vault-Tec DLC everything will f***ed up again, due of an invasion of useless patchesand an patch and again a patch, Nuka World release, patch, patch and patching again, Mods again brokenand the workshop and cosntruction system are still for the garbage!I've build my Sanctuary 10 times due of brainless patches. And everytime again, the construction system with his red zones are an pain in the ass!Bethesda's Lead Designer is an noob!FO4 version of Creation Kit is the best one ever!Instead of many intern game errors we got crash at start and crash at exit, in the editing time itself..and maybe everywhere too. I thought Skyrim was ugly and stupid but now Fallout transform into an real Fallout Edited July 7, 2016 by hivKORN

Nermal66
I had this issue, too - REALLY annoying. There's a script (from one of the mods), which is firing at the wrong time and 'causing the kick-out of the build mode. In your case its possible, that a ghost of the script was stored in the savegame, 'cause deleting mods does not remove all parts of scripts. So a script cleaner, which is detecting and removing orphan scripts would be VERY USEFUL. There was such a thing in Skyrim..... I never found out, which mod was causing this - but, as in your case, it fixed itself....... No idea.
