Ambitios Mod idea up for grabs: Wayward Pines

I don't have the time or skill to create a mod but if I did, I would want to build something like this. To fully understand, it would be helpful for you to know the mystery behind the series Wayward Pines. If you have not seen that show but plan to, please stop reading now unless you are okay with spoilers.

This mod would be a diversion from Fallout 4 but it could be designed as a playable side story quest of sorts. It seems there is enough similarities between the two universes that many in game assets and functionality could be used. It could start in the memory den as a game to help keep it separate from the Fallout story if needed. Ultimately, I would think of this as a castle defense build/defend scenario.

Outline:

Your character would play the role of someone on Pilchers team (the architect) who is responsible for designing a (pre-war) town, Wayward Pines (a settlement) capable of sustaining human life and protecting it from the aberrations (of the wasteland). Pilcher has nearly unlimited capital resources to build this town. Much or all of the materials (scrap/resources) could be ready at the start of this module (possibly in the pre-war era in Fallout).

There could be a playable component that involves rounding up your non-volunteer population using mechanics similar to the fallout 3 slaver roll which may or may not be a part of the upcoming Nuka-World add-on.

After the initial settlement design is complete, the volunteers and those "chosen/kidnapped" (as "settlers") enter suspended animation to then wake 2014 years later in Wayward Pines (settlement in the wasteland era).

Enemy (ghouls and death claws or even a new modded enemy - abbie or aberration) spawn points would be placed just outside of the settlement.

After establishing a secure settlement in the (wasteland) future, the next phase could be be to plant crops to sustain it which would have to be outside of safe area of the settlement due to it being the only viable soil.

Not sure what the end game would be yet since the series is still ongoing. Possibly to establish multiple settlements in the future or eliminate a large fixed number of enemies. Other ideas welcome.
