  1. 1. Would you want a wolf as a pet

    • Yes, that would be amazing.
    • No, the dog is just what I need.
    • I have another animal in mind.

+1 dogs in this game make me think of fable for some reason, the eyes are too cute and cartoonish.

But don't you hate the fact you can no longer sneak? When you tell it to wait, it won't be there. And that the dog will remain weak as you get stronger...I was attached to meeko...and a crab ended his life! Now a wolf that also got stronger, hoh s*** that would be nice!

Maybe a command animal exploit.

And instead of dying, make it "faint/go unconscious"

Just the main thing I am concerned about is the SCALING. You don't want it to die by a mudcrab.

Vigilance is a trained wardog for people wondering about the 500g wardog. He dies, immediately (I killed him using fire and he jumped into it).

Don't waste your moneyz on him brahs.

I found a place to buy a war dog companion, but it was 500, which is the standard price for human companions. I didn't buy it because I was worried that the dog would displace my human companion. Do you know if this is the case? Can you have a war dog AND a humanoid companion at the same time?

I dunno about the dog, but I had two quest npcs AND my whiterun housecarl with me when I made the trip to the old Blades Temple.

I would like to make any animal a companion. Having a troll or a dragon would be a little over powered, well a mini dragon would be cool. Having a scroll to summon say a wolf, fox or other animal. It would be even better if you could use a soul gem, a greater soul would give you a stronger pet than say a petty soul would.

There's a mesh/texture swap out to change dogs to wolves/foxes, BUT - on the wolves, the eyeballs seem to be missing. :-(

If anyone knows how to fix this, that would be wonderful!

Oh, and you can set Vigilance and Meeko to essential in the console: ~setessential 000D95E9 1

Vigilance's Base ID is 0009A7AA

Meeko's Base ID is 000D95E9

So the command is "~setessential 000D95E9 1" for Meeko.
