Shidentora
I want to learn how to combine guns and scopes from the mods I use. So, can someone please provide an advice as which programs to use and are there any tutorials on this matter? vforvic
Nifskope is what I use to mod weapons. Sometimes I have to use Blender, but NifSkope is really what you need. There is also some Tutorials on NifSkope on the linked page. Also you might consider downloading Weapon Mod Kits by Antistar. It probably does much of what you want to do anyway. Plus, you can look through his Meshes as a Guide for how its done since you can see the same base weapon both modded and non-modded in NifSkope. I already started and have some results. But what really makes me ponder is how the heck do I approach a scope to my gun in Nifscope, when it's some milimetres or more away from the gun.As for the WMK, yes, I use it. With FWE - It rock-n'-rolls:)Hey... Ever seen a scoped Sturmgewehr 44? That's my favorite and I just couldn't resist to scope it - I mean, FO3 is a fiction and heck, I do whatever I wanna do:) TYVM again. Who are the two guys on your Avatar, btw? vforvic
If you look in NifSkope when you have the modded weapon open you will see the Scope in the Render Window. Click it and it will highlight "NiTriShape" in the Block List to the left. Look down below and in the Block Details you will see "Translation" and X Y Z numbers to the right. Those X Y Z numbers can be changed to move the Scope. You will probably have to do the same for the Lens on the Scope. Pretty much any item you can click can be moved this way.I know the StG 44 was scoped as an experiment during the war. The StG 44 was so far ahead of its time in design and the ideas that went into the weapon. Its one of my favorites as well. The guys in my Avatar are Flounder and Niedermeyer from the movie Animal House.

MonsterMonkey
Now you know you can combine any weapon mesh parts with others by copying and pasting it ( canons, triggers, scopes, etc...) creating brand new customized models, just like you're a scavenger using different parts found in the wastelend. That's exactly what I do, fren.Uh, did you say "canons?"
