Deepscorn Hollow question of ownership

Recommended Posts

I installed Deepscorn Hollow, and did the rudimentary quest to set it up, but when I go there and examine things, everything is marked with the red icon meaning I don't own any of the items inside, even though I "inherited" the place, and bought all the furnishings from Rowley at Wawnet Inn.

This isn't right is it? Am I supposed to get the normal white icon for ownership on items in DH?

Thanks.

Ah, Deepscorn Hollow, my home away from murder. This is very weird that it shows you do not own the property, it has to be a bug. Inside the "cave" section where the poison garden is located, there is a book sitting on a small wooden table next to a pool of water that leads back outside. Make sure you read that book, it is part of the deed. If you still have problems, I really hope you do not need to, but maybe you could try re-installing the hollow.

I did read the book (Greywyn's journal) the first time through. And I did everything in the detailed walkthrough, I think. I tried disabling the mod and re-enabling it and I get the same result: red icon on all items indicating I do not own them. Weird. I'm also using Oscuro's so maybe there's some conflict with mods or something.

It doesn't really seem to affect gameplay. I don't think minion cares if I yoink stuff there.

(Edit: I just ended up using the console command "setownership".)

You might also try SetCellOwnership.

How do I use SetCellOwnership? I couldn't find out where the cell id's for Deepscorn Hollow are.

(edit): to be specific ...

I found this page:

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Console_...wnership_CellID

Which says to look here:

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Places

But it's not listed there, so I found this page:

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Deepscorn_Hollow

Which says "ID: DLCDeepscorn"

so I tried:

setcellownership DLCDeepscorn

But that gives me the error:

invalid interior cell 'dlcdeepscorn' for parameter Cell

So I got stuck.
