None of my new mods work

I'm not really a stranger to downloading mods anymore, but I'm pretty much at a loss for words and actions when something like this happens.

I've been browsing TESNexus for at least an hour now, and downloaded a TON of awesome mods to help me get a little more out of my Oblivion experience, as I've already beaten the game. However, when I tried to activate these mods in Data Files, I found that almost none of them were present therein, and the ones that were did not work at all.

What could possibly be the problem? Too many mods at once? Conflicting mods? Corrupted files? I have no idea. I'd really like some help with this; I'm not kidding when I say I lurked forever to find these, and they do kick ass.

Thanks in advance for any help I receive. I just really want to try my new mods out. q.q!

I agree with Abramul, it is most likely the files have not been extracted to the correct locations. A conflict between mods would not prevent them from appearing in the Data Files menu.

You're supposed to extract them to Data in the Oblivion folder, right? I did that. I found all my mods in that folder, but almost none of them showed up in Data Files. Wtf.

When you say that you can see them, do you mean you can see a folder with the mods name on it? Some mods extract, not into the actual folders such as meshes or textures, but into a folder with the mods name on it. If this is the case, they will neither work nor show up in the Data Files menu.

To fix this simply take the files inside these folders and place them in your Data folder.

I took pretty much every file out of its folder and most of the mods still aren't showing up in Data Files, although a few did, but even then one of them still doesn't work. The two I'm primarily concerned about are a weapons and armor mod; I like emptied all of their little individual files into Data and they're still not working.

I really don't know what's wrong with them, because I know I extracted every mod I downloaded properly and just tried what you suggested. Guess I'll keep screwing with it.

Just downloaded the armor mod after deleting everything I already downloaded, extracted each individual file to Data, and it still doesn't work. It even shows up in Data Files.

Sooo, by this point I'm pretty much convinced the creator is a jackass and made a broken mod. That's the only logical conclusion I can come to. Guess I'll have to find a new ranger outfit mod. Thanks alot for the help anyway Woogie, I appreciate it.
