Faivon
My FPS drops significantly after I re-install the whole Oblivion, I already have low-poly grass installed, operation optimization, combat FPS Optimizer, and tweak some of the oblivion.ini My game before aren't like this! The difference between my last game and current game is now I've installed MMM and Francesco. Does they make a significant FPS drops? It's like, when I'm in the wilderness with like, 5 or more skeleton .. My FPS drops till 7 - 10! This is driving me crazy! Oh, My PC Spec is AMD Athlon 64 nVIDIA Geforce 66001 GB of RAM I already set my refresh rate to 72 hz as instructed and its supported by my monitor but my FPS is still low! I can't play like this! T_TAnd my FPS while in town is like, 15 - 30 FPS
WoogieMonster
It sounds like something may have happened during the re-installation. Faivon
Hmm, I don't have a problem while uinstalling or installing.. I think when I reinstall my vanilla Oblivion ... It's still okI'm pretty sure it started lag when I installing Fransesco and MMM. For Streamline, I don't quite understand how to install it. First it told me to install the 2.0 first which is OMOD version then told me to update it with .ESP How is that possible? =_= Perhaps my character is already played for over 200+ hours? I've checked with Wrye Bash and my Hex Code is still 45xxxxx and 43xxxxx. I fix that so it revert back to 4000000 I installed my latest video card driver which is released on 19 Dec 2007 which is just a few days ago. I tried to disable all Francesco and MMM plugins, my FPS increased a bit but not like my previous game! Does this mean I didn't fully uninstall my Oblivion so the cache or whatever is still there and it slows down my FPS? EDIT : Muahahaha! I uninstall ALL OF THEM AGAIN including MODS and ALL SAVEGAMES! I tried my fresh Oblivion in the prison and the FPS is kinda amazing (at least for me) it's 25+ fps average! :)
sawacs
The more mods you add and the more crap you install, the less your frame rate can theoretically become.. especially with huge mods like MMM,OOO etc.. The game loads more making more crap "pop" into the world.. Gluck!
ResidentWeevil2077
That's why I've stayed as far away I can possibly can from OOO, MMM, and Fran's mod. I'm perfectly fine with the original rate of levelling, thank you very much.
malonn
Yeah large mods like MMM and OOO and Fran will hit your framerate. No doubt about it.
Faivon
Hmm, but MMM and OOO is not all about leveling ... They adds a lot of new armors/weapons/clothing and new creatures! Thats what I want from those mods, not the leveling part.. I just leave the option blank or whatever there is available to keep it default. Now I already reinstalled Oblivion for some time now with MMM and Francesco and my FPS is better than last time. Its about 20+ on the exterior
