Dr. Corbett
It seems that the US has somehow got a case of BSE. (Mad Cow Disease) As a Canadian, I've already been annoyed by their insistance on banning Canadian beef. Perhaps we can now do they same to them? Or perhaps, more hopefully, they'll allow OUR beef back in.
Shakkara
Oh wait, americans got Creutzfeldt-Jakob, yes, that could explain it.
Curt Sibling
I can think of a few US citizens with mad 'cowboy' disease.Well about four of them, in a large white building in DC. On-topic:I think the tinkering with the balance of animal growth is bound to backfire on us. Herbivore cows, etc are not meant to eat the liquified brains of other animals. Eltiraaz
Good point. I agree with Dr. Corbett, here, just because we found a couple of cows with BSE, in *one* region of the country, thats no reason to say that ALL Canadian beef is a threat to health. I'm happy to say that we dealt with that pretty damn good. Thousands of livestock we're slaughtered because of a couple of cows. The dangers over.
