beholder2
Hi everyone ! I open this topic to talk about two-handers' perks. Which ones do you found useful/useless ? I took the perk that double critical damages when you perform a powerfull attack during a run.I'm not totally satisfied from it : it seems that, most of the time, it doesn't do the damage it should, like if it needed your blow to be a critical strike to be effective ??But the game always warn me that I hit with a critical stence... So I don't know what to think about it :-/And I find difficult to easily land this blow. Morover, I always take a hit from the enemy at the same time. For example, against a bear, it's some kind of suicidal... (it won't kill him, and he will land 2 rapids hits that let me almost dead). The other one that add 25% of damage when landing a "non-mooving" powerfull blow is good, but against slow enemies or when you have a mercenary with you (and he is focused of course). Which specialized weapon perk do you prefer ?Sword : +30% critical strikeAxe : bleeding effect (but axes are slower than sword)Hammer : ignore 75% of opponent armor (but even slower than axes). Gugus0
I have 100 in 2handed with all perks, and on expert difficulty im almost invicible... most of the time I kill enemies with 2-3 hits even with shields, one if critical which happens like 50% of the time. After that, can't really notice the bleeding effect.. I just run into the crowd, *Boom*, next, *boom* ... next,...kinda funny, but I may try to play on Master to add difficulty... for now im leveling with a one handed sword, when too much trouble, I equip my fire ebony axe and then I wtfpwn the guy :D
soot00
There are so many weapon varieties I have ignored the specialized weapon perks and just dumped points into 20-40-60etc base damage. Can't wait til I get "Sweep" which comes far later.

What race is your character ? I mean if you're an orc and you're using berserk, I understand how you're are killing everything in 2-3 hits ^^I play a nord character, and it seems to be a little bit more difficult :-/ The main problem is to being hit while hitting to.And I have to choose which weapon specialization I prefer, in order to economize Perk's points (6 points is not negligeable). pussyranger
sword > champ stanc > upwards + 30% crits and some stamina potions max out weapon for damage > uses and pwn people faces with 1 - 2 power attacks !
socalaries
I think the sword and mace buffs are pretty nice, their comparative usefulness is relative to enemy armor values. The axe buff looks shitty in comparison, as it gives just a little damage over time. Time spent getting hit while waiting for the damage to tick down. dra6o0n
Maces are plenty useful against tough bosses, even if you are just using normal attacks. Also, try using elemental fury with them, it boosts your attack speed a lot! So bypassing enemy defenses, and swinging ridiculously fast, helps.
