If something works with editing meshes (like removing underware ;) ) it's because Skyrim's NIF format has not totally changed, and some stuff can be read or modified. People are working hard to identify the differences, and there appears to be an experimental version of NifSkope with all those chages identified so far. See the NifTools Forum for progress.

eps has nothing to do with the NIF format. esp's can be changed with the new construction set (or what ever the name is) which is provided by Bethesda, and I have no idea if this has been released yet.

With Blender I'm starting to get concerned myself. There are 2 huge tasks which need to be done:

1. Port the existing NifScripts to Blender 2.5/2.6. It was developed for 2.49, and there are tremendous differences to 2.5. Almost like a rework.

2. Implement/change all the NIF format differences, which have yet to be identified and understood

In the NifTools Forums you can find some very sparse information about progress, and alpha test plans. But since there seems only one person (amorilia) working on it, I dout we will have a working Blender available soon. So I think the only new meshes and animations we will see in the near future (if any) will come from people having access to 3DS MAX (and the proper interfaces, of course)

I see thanks for the reply, I know esps have nothing to do with nifskope I was asking because I have a mod (http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=227) that has an esp for skyrim and I was wonder how is that possible since we don´t have the creation kit yet.

There are unofficial tools for oblivion or fallout that can be tweaked to see part of Skyrim.esm. The creator of the mod may have used them to find the value he was looking for and to create an esp with this modified value. I may be wrong, and I'm not able to do such a thing, but that's how he did it, I think.

Oh thank you, I´ll be waiting for the official tools to start my mods.Main ones I need are just nifskope and creation kit, blender would be nice but it´s not something I use a lot.
