somerandomsheepthathops
I don't know why, but my game does not have the Fallout4Custom.ini file, is there anything I can do to fix this? I have no idea how to create ini files, and it seems I can't mod the game without this critical file. I've modded Bethesda games for years, but I've never once encountered a situation like this on the other games. Do I need to download the file from the internet? Try to create it, or what do I do? Surilindur
copy Fallout4.ini paste it rename the pasted one (probably named Fallout4 - Copy.ini) to Fallout4Custom.ini open the new Fallout4Custom.ini click CTRL+A to select all text in the ini, press delete button on your keyboard to delete everything selected save done, you now have a Fallout4Custom.ini you can modifyThat would be one way to do it, no need to download such files from the Internet. You can also oprn up your text file editor of coice, open a new empty file, and save it as an ini file, but you would then need to make sure you pick the correct encoding and all that, because sometimes programs can be a bit picky when it comes to encoding. Hopefully that helps a little. Edited July 3, 2016 by Contrathetix

I still can't buy them, I can't find them with the help command, or add them to my inventory with the exact weapon IDs. Already starting to regret buying this game. :wallbash: :wallbash:
steve40
Make a backup copy of your ini files, delete them, then verify your Steam cache.
