I'm going to try and document a very annoying and loud wind bug that i swore i'd fixed by installing a sound mod removing background effects in dungeons and caves.

18th last seed, 4E 201; whiterun; 3pm - no wind in the streets (vivid weather mod installed) but wind upon entering any store/inn. exit any building and there's no wind.

*Fast travelled to riverwood and tried the stores but no wind

*Fast travelled back to whiterun and there was wind in the streets but none in the buildings

*reloaded savegame and walked around a bit until there was wind in the streets AND buildings

Obviously, i'm assuming that either

(a) vanilla skyrim has a bug that'll actually play wind in buildings (we know it loves to play wind in dungeons)

(b) Vivid Weathers is possibly mismatching exterior sounds with interior for buildings

© Vivid Weathers might actually be causing wind to be played indoors

---------

i'm not going to entertain the troll posts about 'sexchange' or 'showracemenu' or 'favorites' nor 'chillrend' ...among the many idiotic and fruitless solutions google search shows up. I've already tried them all and they don't work. obvious troll should have been obvious.

Hi, I had the same trouble as you and i found a solution that works for me. The sound file of vivid weathers is way louder than the vanilla one, but you can change it directly: go to your Skyrim SE file, then Data/Sound/fx/vividweathers. The file is named vividsndwl.wav. You just have to reduce the sound at your liking with a software like Audacity for exemple. Have a nice day!
