antisphere06
Hello, this guide will cover combining every crafting skill to make those beastly Weapons. Things you will need are Weapons and armor of your choice60x Spriggan Sap, 30x Glowing Mushroom, Blisterwort, Snowberries, Bear claws and Hagraven Claw. (this is the minimum i would recommend if you can get more of these please do.)The materials to improve your weapon and armor.Enchantments that give a +10-25% increase towards Black Smithing and Alchemy.10x regular Rings, Necklace/Amulets, Gauntlets/Bracers, Helmets and Armor. (this will be the items you enchant later on for the increase in Alchemy and Black Smithing.). Recommended Items/Skills 100 Smithing100 Alchemy100 Enchanting Deadra/ Ebony items would not recommend doing this on anything lower it would just be a waste of time. Screenshots of my Finished WorkI chose the Daedric Mace as my weapon of choice since it does the most one handed damage out of every weapon I have came across in my travels.http://i43.tinypic.com/35ckk7o.jpg This is with one handed enchants and 100 skill in one handed Here you can see max armor rating without potionshttp://i44.tinypic.com/4kiafb.jpg Beginning Once You Have the Everything Now here is what you do to get started, you need to make 2x Potion of Fortify Enchanting use 1 when you get to your enchanting altar and enchant your helmet and your gauntlets with +25% alchemy by then your potion have worn off so you use the other one and enchant your ring and necklace with + 25% alchemy. Once you have completed that equip those items and go make another 2 Potion's of Fortify Enchanting and repeat the above step except you will notice the percentages increase, that is when you keep on repeating this until your alchemy percentage increase is at 29% and your Potion's of Fortify Enchanting are at 32% these are the caps you cannot go any higher then that. This is were all the above has paid off with those items of +29% alchemy bonus make the wrest of what you can of Potion of Fortify Enchanting and then make all the Potion's of Fortify Smithing that you can the percentage increase on the Potion's of Fortify Smithing should be 130% if you did it correctly. Use 1 Potion of Fortify Enchanting to create your +29% blacksmith items (there is no helmet enchant for this but there is a armor enchant). OK we are finally to the part of where you start making those sexy items.Go to the nearest Grinding wheel & workbench Use 1 of them Potion's of Fortify Smithing and start enhancing your armor/weapons :D (Remember to refresh your potions!!!)For enchants just use the fortify enchanting one to raise the enchants. If you see any typos or something not correct please let me know :D Edited November 16, 2011 by antisphere06
sarnz
That mace is badass. Honestly though, I wish that someone would re-write the way that blacksmithing / enchanting / alchemy works. IMO you should get more experience crafting weapons / armor that use more of and rarer materials, and there should be some sort of diminishing returns on items that you've crafted multiple times (at least at the lower levels) I got my blacksmithing to level 100 solely by creating iron daggers and leather bracers... which IMO is kind of stupid. Nadimos
Alchemy and enchanting is just so op. I red someone was making equipment with 2000+ armor rating in skyrim.Dont wanna start to think about weapons. Probably it one shots everything, except the hardest boss on expert. Each to their own i guess. Like that morrorwind speedrun in under ten minutes. :teehee: Edited November 16, 2011 by Nadimos

Cardali
I did a test of this yesterday. You actually get a better benefit from enchanting 4 pieces of armor with smithing than you do from anything else, and then upgrading them on a workbench. himegotoo
Thanks. I probably wont be doing it to my weapons. good thing I am playing a pure mage I guess hahaHowever though does anyone know if smithing works with forsworn armor (or any other armor not on the list) cause I feel like making a weak looking armor badass. Kinda like how you can upgrade daedric weapons and armor.
