rbx3 Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 (edited) So I've recently seen a reappearance of the old bug where the Solitude Fletcher is never open. I use the console to teleport to Fihada, and he's standing in the shop and considers my appearance to be trespassing. Wait a few hours, talk to people, mouse back and forth, the shop never opens. Teleported Fihada to me, watched him enter the shop, but he doesn't open it for business. If I console kill Fihada, Jawanan continues the tradition of never actually opening the shop. Any idea what could cause this? Or more specifically, how can I fix it? Added notes: I checked the Creation Kit and the shop is supposed to open at 8am, as expected. I didn't see any obvious reasons for the shop to be failing to open. Edited July 4, 2016 by rbx3
Darkstyler35 Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Try deactivating your mods and test in game. If it worked, some of your mods conflict or a mod overwrites the NPC.Load all your mods with Tes5edit and use the (right-click in the left pane) apply filter to show conflict losers.- Wait till Tes5edit has finished. Caution : don't try to modify anything while using this filter, it's not intended for.In the left pane, Expand the subsections and examine conflicts. Search in skyrim.esm, expand the Non-Player Character subsection and see which mod (s) overwrites Fletcher. This is how things work.- Once an entry is expanded to the bottom and selected, the right pane shows which mods modify the entry. The last one on the right is the last loaded, that the game will listen, (conflict winner).
rbx3 Posted July 5, 2016 Author Posted July 5, 2016 (edited) This comes as a total shock to me, but disabling all addons didn't cause the Fletcher to unlock on time, and I'm still "trespassing" during normal business hours. Edited July 5, 2016 by rbx3
Darkstyler35 Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Make a save. Open the console, select the NPC and type recycleactor + press enter. Travel do some quests and come back the day after. This may need to be done more than once...
