Talking to a genie chest

So here's a little idea:
I need a chest that, upon interaction, opens a dialogue with some options.
Upon choosing one, the chest is filled with items related to the chosen option, and the dialogue never comes up again.

I know the logic behind it, just raise a flag when the dialogue is closed, but I need to know the specifics of how to do it all.
