Poll: how many of you increased your weight limit via console?

Besides, I find it silly, at least if you visualize it, to carry 4-5 swords/axes/hammers/staffs, plus, plus..

 

OK here's the thing guys....

 

I don't carry 4-5 swords/axes/staffs etc, I only carry 1 One-Handed sword, 1 Two-handed sword, a Bow and some arrows in my weapons slot. In my armor slot I only carry apparel that I am *eqipped* with.

 

So I thought to myself....why am I *STILL* at my weight limit? Well, after scrutinizing my whole inventory, I discovered that the weapons and armor weren't the problem, it was all the little extra s*** I had stashed away. Soooooo many bits of food and potions weighing a fraction of a pound, but a shitload of them nonetheless and more than I needed.

 

I STILL have too many potions but I can't bring myself to just sell them off carelessly. I need to justify using them and will wait until the appropriate fight to do so. Not to mention all the s*** in my misc slot adding up...redundant ores, gems, etc. I mean really....are these things really necessary if all I'm wearing is Heavy Armor?

 

In any case, I'm down quite a bit from my weight limit now so it's all gravy...for the moment :) I will certainly be A LOT more picky about what I pick up from now on!

Just pick the things that are suited for your character or at least have some value. For exmaple, I never pick weapons and armour(I'm playing as a mage/assassin ) from the NPCs I kill, unless they are unique or have some decent value(around 1000 septims and up). I do pick all the ingredients I can find and trust me they do compensate. It would be a real pain in the arse if I'd pick everything, cuz I'd have to travel to town after almost every dungeon.:psyduck:

OR, just play it however the hell you want which means increase the limit if you believe you're in a MAGICAL world that already provides us with amazing abilities. Besides, you're going to find later on you'll be wanting some of that miscellaneous stuff you're being advised to ignore. :P

 

To all the critics: it is a GAME. It is meant to be fun, not a second job. If we want to add something which improves our fun, it doesn't harm you and shouldn't be cause for you to criticize. End of.

Well I have still not altered this limit. It's a bit of a challenge still but I'm finding it not too much of a problem actually. Don't really need 163648 books or potions or ores. Just a few here and there.
