Spirit0f64
Well...I pre-ordered the game in July and received it today and all I can say is...well, the topic title says it all. I get the game, sit down to load it on my computer only to find out that I have to install Steam, download the game, an wait for 4 f***ing hours! What the f**k is up with that? I don't normally get heated over a game, but this takes the f***ing cake! What a piece of CRAP! Oh well, live and learn! That's $90 I just threw in the trash! I'm going back to Oblivion. Bethesda can kiss my a** for all I care. Hope they enjoy my money! I won't be returning to the Skyrim Nexus, that's for sure. I'll stay with the Elder Scrolls...probably do some more castles. As for Skyrim...you can have it!

Dowly
It was clear quite some time before the release that Steam would be required. :whistling:

akin12
It states on the box that steam is required, we were also warned before hand about it needing steam, if a game starts to download while installing from disk to steam you delete the local files and try again, instead of getting mad look for support instead. chikawowwow
So you're calling it a piece of crap, but have you actually played the game yet?.......Perhaps if you didn't have a painfully slow internet connection it would be a different story, that however is no reflection on the game itself. Dowly
Ahh the perks to owning an Xbox 360  Say that again when PC users are still playing Skyrim years from now on with all the wonderful mods.
Rennn
Shouldn't you be saying 'screw Steam' since you haven't even played Skyrim yet? This is why I hate people who act like they're ten years old.The funny thing is, if you're going to get butthurt about such a tiny thing you're better off without Skyrim. It is a mature game.
