Harvald
Hi friend, only modding the faces is a beginning, but its just jumping in the middle of better Oblivion playing. So let's begin in the beginning. There a some tools you need for good modding Links to suggested toolsOBSE: http://obse.silverlock.org/OBMM: http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2097BOSS: http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=20516Wrye Bash: http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=22368additional fine is OBGE: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=30054 First changing the outfit of the design of the game For a better control panel: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10763and better map markers: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=26389 now my personal suggest for a new body As a Body mod I would prefer a HGEC body nude ( for female) and (for male) because tons of clothing are based on this mod. a good sekeleton for most of the clothing mods is http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=27945 and a nice skin texture http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=20022or http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=19021perhaps with this http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=22870 better heads http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=20335get some new hairstyles races find yourself, if you like. My favourite Elves of Lineage IIcause there are some fine modifications you find if you search them on tesnexus. If using from the beginning you need http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1815 and http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3485 then you probably wish to have a animation replacer http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=35551 and now You have a fine person walking through Oblivion. for better athmosphere I suggest If you don't like leveling system try oblivion war cry,( english translation) and only the boss monsters will level up. and a more realistic leveling system Better sound http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=39804Basic Primary Needs http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=37088bathing mod http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=17190trade and commerce http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=39255creature diversivity http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=26634Economy adjustment: Enhanced Economy No more psychic guards: Reneers Guard Overhaul Unique Landscapes are great and nearly a musthave a general armor and Clothing replacer http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=23143 or http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34793 or http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=18352 there are more clothing mods than I can tellmy personal choice female underwear Sluggo http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=22090in clothing is roadstrokers work http://www.tesnexus.com/modules/members/index.php?id=1281817 slofs mens wear http://www.slofslair.co.uk/index.php?page=modarticle&modarticle/id=6024hiatkkdfemale clothing Rhyks work http://www.zodiac.o0o0.jp/rayk/ryk_mod_etc.html all not to sexy like some things here, but if you like them better, have a look. for weapons gizmodians work http://www.tesnexus.com/modules/members/index.php?id=341209 for better looking Horses http://www.slofslair.co.uk/index.php?page=modarticle&modarticle/id=5p5k6md28n8 my most liked housemod or have a look to Real estate companionmods: Vilja, Saerilet, blade song, wich was my forst quest mod at all. Oh yes for Blads song you need this http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=16323 By using this mods you are playing a game close to mine about a year ago, but now there are about 400 mods I have in my game, 254 are possible, but you will learn how to install more. You should personalize your game by taking your favourite mods. No other one plays the same game. Oblivion is in my opinion the most and best modded game in the world at the moment. One little hint at last. Do not put in all mods at once. Go step by step and test, test, test. Installing step by step and do regularly testing and backups, is cause, if one of the mods is broken or not installed in the right way, you'll spend hours searching for the mistake. By doing only 3 to 5 mods at one time, search is much easyer. You save time, much more than you'll spend with testing. You find hundreds of guys in O.troubleshooting, who suffer with this problems. Don't forget ;) have fun Harvald Edited November 17, 2011 by Harvald

AlfredTetzlaff
Hi again ;)Let me try a very crude and simple explanation:OBSE is an extension of Oblivions scripting capabilities, it basically makes more complex mods possible.OBMM is the FOMM for Oblivion, the mod manager ;)BOSS is for sorting the load order, a must have when running a lot of mods.WryeBash has a lot of features, it can fix some save game bugs, it can be used as a mod manager/installer (BAIN), but its most important feature would be the so called bashed patch. The bashed patch basically makes your mods go well together. Hope this gives you a basic idea :)Happy modding
HiddenLurker
Hey, I just came to this thread to introduce to you an epic mod. Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul. Go google it, 'OOO'. It is probably the only mod you'll ever need. (because by itself it already contains most of the stuff said above such as better trading and commerce, new creatures, new apparel, new weapons, etc) Check it out :D
