looking for mods for new faces and such

i'm buying oblivion tomorrow for my pc and i have already played it on ps3 but i remember just how ugly the characters where in the game, so i'm wondering if anyone in the forum could possibly direct me to a couple retexure mods of something so i can have better looking time this time :D

As a Body mod I would prefer a HGEC body nude ( for female) and (for male) because tons of clothing are based on this mod.

By using this mods you are playing a game close to mine about a year ago, but now there are about 400 mods I have in my game, 254 are possible, but you will learn how to install more. You should personalize your game by taking your favourite mods. No other one plays the same game. Oblivion is in my opinion the most and best modded game in the world at the moment.

 

One little hint at last. Do not put in all mods at once. Go step by step and test,test,test. Installing step by step and do regularly testing and backups, is cause, if one of the mods is broken or not installed in the right way, you'll spend hours searching for the mistake. By doing only 3 to 5 mods at one time, search is much easyer. You save time, much more than you'll spend with testing. You find hundreds of guys in O.troubleshooting, who suffer with this problems.

Hi again ;)

Let me try a very crude and simple explanation:

OBSE is an extension of Oblivions scripting capabilities, it basically makes more complex mods possible.

OBMM is the FOMM for Oblivion, the mod manager ;)

BOSS is for sorting the load order, a must have when running a lot of mods.

WryeBash has a lot of features, it can fix some save game bugs, it can be used as a mod manager/installer (BAIN), but its most important feature would be the so called bashed patch. The bashed patch basically makes your mods go well together.

 

Hope this gives you a basic idea :)

Hey, I just came to this thread to introduce to you an epic mod.

 

Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul. Go google it, 'OOO'.

 

It is probably the only mod you'll ever need. (because by itself it already contains most of the stuff said above such as better trading and commerce, new creatures, new apparel, new weapons, etc)
