A mod to make the brotherhood able to ally with NCR in "For the republic, II"?

I did "still in the dark" very early in the game, and I made Hardin the elder, then when I got to "for the republic, II", I found out that you cannot ally with the brotherhood if Hardin is the elder. Are there any mods out there that make this possible? I really do not want to kill the brotherhood. I have some questing experience in the GECK also, so if someone might be able to point me in the right direction? Thanks!
