very low FPS for no apparent reason.

The game tells me to run on ultra by default, and the next setting down would be high and it works. but the difference is high works fine, ultra lags everywhere at 10fps. I simply do not think the difference should be that extreme, especially when in game I turn up to max all sliders, except for specularity distance draw, and lighting draw and the game performs the same. Also. I have found having AA on with antriscopic filtering for whatever reason breaks the game. FXAA seems to fix this though, and turning shadows down to medium fixes a lot of issues.

Seems to me this is an issue of resource allocating, as my CPU does next to nothing when skyrim is launching and GPU is the same... So thank you bethesda for this console port.

Funny mine autodetects at medium, which is rather worrisome as I can run Metro 2033 maxed.

Theres NO difference between detail settings in performance.

I can confirm that something's broken with AA. Check my previous posts. Now I've disabled AA and run fxaa. Shadows were at medium already but using Nvidia inspector I added Ambient occlusion in compatibility mode for oblivion.

I've now have good 60 fps indoors(ocasional drops for no real reason).

35 to 45 fps outside, but drops to 20 fps!! in Whiterun.

But now it lags atrociously in skill menu only. Drops to 4 fps lol.

Was running AA at 2 and while I didn't have huge variations in fps I never had good fps, short of staring at a wall. AA is definitely causing problems.

People with older rigs run it at max without problems, I'm happy for them but its kinda a wtf?! moment. My other games run good.

Rig-1075 phenom 2, gtx 560ti, 8gb ram
