MShoap13
Then you probably didn't place the line under the [Launcher] section of Skyrim.ini located in \Documents\(User)\Games\Skyrim\.
666sgb
Then you probably didn't place the line under the [Launcher] section of Skyrim.ini located in \Documents\(User)\Games\Skyrim\. I didn't have to do anything, it was already there. still greyed no matter what I try.
slimreborn
Are you sure that it's the [Launcher] section? Mine didn't show up after I had searched it for some reason, but it ended up being right in the middle under [TerrainManager] and [blurShader]. pikkatze
I have all that enabled, Data Files are clickable, but the list of the files is empty, except for the Skyrim.esm. I also added the mods' names into the plugins.txt in AppData, but still nothing.
MichaelOleary
Then you probably didn't place the line under the [Launcher] section of Skyrim.ini located in \Documents\(User)\Games\Skyrim\. Ok i think i worked out the issue. I had the same problem I saw the line and it was allready there.I was looking at the wrong Skyrim prefs file though The one you need to go to is the one in your documents/mygames/skyrim (or what ever it is for you) i kept going into the prefs file that was in the skyrim install directory (that one allready had the correct line at the very bottom but it as doing nothing again make sure you go to ... C:\Users\[name]\Documents\My Games\Skyrim NOT IN THE SKYRIM INSTALL DIRECTORY!
catman00
this may be old but im having the same issue but everything is in the correct sections but it still wont work!!!
Cyphe
I am also experiencing the same problem. I made sure to add the line mentioned above to the correct file, and I am able to click on Data Files section in the launcher, but the list stays empty, for whatever reason, although I have installed about 50+ mods which are completely appropriate displayed in Nexus Mod Manager, which I now use as a solution to activate my mods. Still, I wonder why the Skyrim Launcher doesn't recognize my mods.
