(PC) Is Skyrim stable?

- I saw two places where the rocks have a gap between their lower border and the ground below, same as in Fallout in a few spots

I did not find a quest bug yet, and those above may kill the immersion, but not the game.

There's lots of those. Not as many floating rocks and trees as Oblivion. Most of them are in the mountains, usually hard to reach places though. But this is actually one of the hardest bugs to track down and fix due to having to manually wander though those areas to note any obvious gaps.

My game crashes several times everyday for some reason, never had any problems with any other game on this rig, and it is brand new.

played Fallout, BF3, Witcher 2 + many other of the newer games on it with my problem....shame on Skyrim for being a crash pit :(

One crash in almost 45 hours of play - definitely the most stable Bethesda release ever, even more so than fully patched versions of all their previous titles.

As far as gaps/holes, they are still out there. You can see one in Whiterun itself, next to the wall near the Companion's guild hall (turn right instead of going to the front door).

+70 hours of play and I'm really impressed with the stability. My water cooled computers temps do get a bit on the high side, especially the video card 16XAA and AF will do that. There are a few bugs in the game but they aren't as serious as they have been with earlier titles from Bethesda. Edited by shadow_scale9180

Two crashes, early in the game. Both ended extended playing sessions. Now I'm limiting my sessions to about three hours at a time. Far fewer crashes than with Oblivion, which still crashes on a whim.

As far as graphical errors go, I was amused by the missing wall because of where it occurred.

33 hours in, no crashes at all, 1 quest bugged on me and reloading old saves didnt help, and 2 instanceds of floating rocks but thats not a bug as such just incorrect alignment. no memory leaks or stuttering and my fps only drops in a couple of towns but i do only have 2 gig of ram and i have the game on medium-high settings.

All in all together it is pretty stable already. No biggies at all, that i could see. Sometimes there can be a crash to desktop

or water in the very far distance not rendering out properly, but this stuff is a true rarity, all of which can be fixed by simply either fast-traveling, reloading a save or restarting the game.

Mine crashes about once a day. I've had about a dozen freezes or crashes to desktop total. FML. At least everyone else seems to be having a good experience. I kinda wanna blame Steam, but I suppose all it really does is "launch" the game. Hmm.
