parazaine
I have noticed (annoyingly) that the default camera position for 1st person view is somewhere in mid-torso. I am fed up of looking up to everyone,is it possible to alter it to eye-level?
Ringwall
Perhaps you are playing as a shorter race? I play as a high elf and have never noticed this problem.
LibertyBull
Happens to me as a Nord when looking at other Nords or even Imperials. Heck, I'll go up to a wall with something on it for reference, look straight on at in in 1st person view, and when I zoom out to third person my head is a foot above where my camera view was staring at. Pablosky64
I am a Nord too, and it is true that camera positionates on the neck, or in the middle of the chest even. That's not cool.
radaphyte
I've noticed this too. It's not a major issue but it is a bit odd. I wonder if it'd be possible to change the first person view to basically third person, just zoomed in to just in front of the face. That way we would get proper height of vision, and also a body/reflection/shadow. But would the different races present a problem? Maybe the reason it's there is because it's a middle ground that all the races can reach. Seems a bit simple, though.
LibertyBull
If it in fact is the same for all races that would be a damned shame. That was part of the immersion in Oblivion, running around at chest height as a wood elf or towering over the imperial women as a high elf.
