User Interface / Quick-key weapon/spell combos

Hey folks,

 

Unless I'm missing something currently the quickest way to change spells is through the quick-spells menu (default: Q) unless you want the more laborious method of accessing spells through the full menu or magic menu (default: P).

 

Same goes for weapon combos.

 

Is there a way of saving configurations so that you can store, for example:

 

preset 1: fire spell, dagger

preset 2: dagger, dagger

preset 3: heal, fire

preset 4: fire spell, fire spell

preset 5: heal spell, heal spell

preset 6: sword, shield

 

etc?

 

Or is anyone making a mod to allow this?

You can't save presets, but you can have hotkeys.

 

Open the favs menu, scrolls to the item/spell you want, then hit a number 1 to 8.

problem with hotkeys is you can't specify which hand you want it to be assigned to- and you still need 1 hotkey per spell/weapon. I switch between my shield, ward and heal fairly often against dragons, but it will often replace my weapon instead. I'm sure that will be modded soon enough
