Mordeaniis
I really only have one qualm with this game that actually matters. The save system is an absolute travesty. A ton of RPGs have handled this soooooo much better. Bioware seems to have nailed how to handle saves for RPGs that encourage multiple characters, breaking out saves into each "career" (character) or what have you, allowing for auto and quick saves for each of them. As a PC gamer, I rely pretty heavily on quick saves whenever I can. I always keep it mapped somewhere easy to hit without leaving WASD or the mouse. I've lost about 12 hours of progress in skyrim because I keep forgetting that the game has a SINGLE quicksave across ALL characters, and why would I do a hard save when by comparison it takes so much longer and wouldn't actually make things any better? Someone PLEASE fix this without making me depend on an outside program that doesn't even work properly (that or requires more work than it's worth) and just ends up messing up my files. Even if it just made quick saves into hard saves that'd be a nice start, but obviously it'd be awesome if you could break all the saves out on a per-character basis and let the game auto save and quick save separately for each one. I don't want to lose any more f***ing progress (spent about 12 hours on a character, forgot to hard save, and I was back at the f***ing hard save I made RIGHT after customization).I like to mix it up, experiment in these games. I know a lot of people are focusing on a single character now, but I like to have lots of characters and try all the different things out. That's a pain, even with hard saves. gmar84
I was thinking about this exact same feature the other day. I am 100% for this mod, because you're right, most people play one character at a time and this would encourage people to play multiple characters at once, which I would love to be able to do.
