Stavaas Posted December 23, 2007 Share Posted December 23, 2007 Alright, so I've got this idea for a small, but very useful mod for thieves, but I'm kinda stuck at the moment. What I need is a door, but it needs to be invisible to the player, but still function as a regular door. I couldn't find anything in the CS that fits this description, so I thought I'd ask here if anyone knew of any invisible doors, or of a way to get doors invisible? -Andreas Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There would be the same problems as with windows, that is, seeing what is on the other side. Or more accurately, not seeing what is on the other side. Stavaas Posted December 24, 2007 Author Share Posted December 24, 2007 Now I'm not sure what you mean :) What I mean is I want to be able to enter the windows of a building, the same way I enter a door into one, but I can't find a model I can use except for the doors that are already there, but it looks kinda stupid with a door floating in front of a window, so I need an invisible model or door to trigger the transition between the cells just like a regular door does :) -Andreas Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The activator method works, but requires a bit more setup. Any fairly small mesh with an alpha layer and a collision mesh could be made to work.
