Difficulties with a custom mesh.

I've been trying for some time now to figure out how to implement a custom eye NIF as more than just a static part of a character. Unfortunately, I've made no progress since I began and I'm completely out of leads.

 

I have the mesh, but I don't know how to make its pupil move when a character looks around. Does anyone have any information on this?
