Understanding the Havok Physics Engine

I've been using mods for a while but finally decided to learn how to make them. I'm most interested in learning how to manipulate the physics of objects such as velocity and inertia. It looks like that is controlled by the Rigid Body object and there's lots of resources on changing values but not much on how the different settings interact with other objects or each other. For instance, the rate of fall is controlled by Linear and Angular Damping but does Friction have any affect (such as drag)?

 

I'm probably over-thinking things but I'd still like to better figure out the attributes of the Rigid Body object. Does anyone know of some good resources for understanding the Havok Physics engine and how the values relate to real life physics?
