I'm currently playing a stealthy Argonian character, which is what I always start out with.

When I play, I always tend to take on too much responsibility, and end up getting distracted. It took me waaaay too long to finish the main quest, just because I can't say no :P

I made my dude an Altmer Battlemage for the Imperial Army. He uses the Legion Armor forged Superior and that wicked awesome closed Legion helmet. I use a frost/fire/healing spell in my left hand, and an ebony war axe in the other. I'm getting my enchanting up so that I cna enchant my entire gear with fortify destruction to make those killer spells cheaper. Freakin epic :)

Sneak around. See bandit. Shoot bandit in face with arrow. Go around corner. See another bandit. Crawl up. Slip throat with sword. Continue sneaking. Go into bedroom. Steal all the potions and armor. Sneak up to sleeping leader. Connect face with knife.

Oh and I make towns and villages my practice arena... Works wonders as escaping murder is much easier than escaping from a group of deaf and blind bandits.

Right now I'm smithing and exploring falkreath hold. I found a very special dog... I like to explore and find loot to sell for smithing. Killing dragons is a passion for my Nord.

I don't use magic so I bring death to my enemies with duel swords. Heroism and honor are the pillars of my character.

I want to get the main story line out of the way because I hate those stupid dragons coming out of nowhere and setting me on fire. What I really hate is when you're fighting the dragon with a guard and you do a shout and you hurt the guard and as you're fighting for your life to beat this dragon, the guard is throwing a hissyfit and you see you have a mark or whatever for hurting the guard while fighting the dragon. WT????

And if that's not bad enough, then you have wolves and giants and wooly mammoths trying to kill you as you're trying to kill the dragon. Can't these stupid people and animals see that I'm trying to slay a dragon? What is their problem? We're fighting TOGETHER..don't they get that?

Anyway, sorry I went off about that.

But yeah, getting through the main storyline is my objective. If I happen across a cool looking ruin or dungeon, I'll take a break to explore it. And every now and then I'll work on my smithing skills but not as often as I'd like.

If Lydia dies, I reload the game to the last saved game. I am not going to let her die. That goes for my horse, too. And my poor horse has died a lot because I seem to jump him off a cliff or building too high and he falls hard and dies. :( Poor guy.

Oh, and I'm a Nord Warrior, as usual. I play one character. I've played the same character on all the ES games I've played. I guess I'm loyal to a fault or something. But she's aged with each chapter and now she's really, really old. She's hard looking and she has cool scars. She's really strong. I don't go for the girly girl warriors with cute armor. Not my style.

I'm sad though because I don't think she'll make it through another chapter. If ESVI comes out...she'll be in her 80s! How good of a warrior could she possibly be at age 80? I'm going to have to retire her. Or make her die in a blaze of glory in this chapter.

I love 3rd person perspective more as I like watching my toons in "action" as opposed to just two hands on the screen. Doing circle strafing maneuvers and the like is far more enjoyable in this camera perspective.

That said, this camera angle don't work well with range casters. Thus gonna stick with my Thief and Warrior which are getting equal play. Besides there is tons more vareity of "Melee" loot as opposed to spell caster loot in Skyrim, hate to see it all go to waste disenchanting them on my mage, haha

I'm playing a manipulator, specializing in sneak, daggers, alteration and illusion.

A typical battle goes like this:

1. Spot enemies with detect life. Prepare my approach accordingly.

2. Cast Frenzy and make them all kill each other.

3. Walk up to the last one and cast Calm in his face. I like letting him spot me before I do this. Like "Ah hey I just made you kill all your best friends! Now chill out!"

4. Walk up behind him and stab him in the neck with the dagger.
